This article covers changing the standard Telegram profile settings: name, username and picture.
Open the Telegram side menu (three horizontal lines "≡") — Settings — Edit profile: in this section you can change your Username, account name and Picture (avatar).
Do not confuse the Username (your login, @username) with the displayed Account name (first and last name).
